Oldham School PCSO Intervention Day – Roundthorn Academy/Alexandra Park Junior School and St Margarets C of E Primary School

Roundthorn Academy - On 09/02/2026 St Marys neighbourhood team attended Roundthorn Primary Academy held a Police Surgery before school stated and then carried out Road Safety, Anti-Bullying/ Hate Crime Awareness workshop with 180 students from year 1 to year 6. Alexandra Park School - On 09/02/2026 St Marys Neighbourhood Team attended Alexandra Park School and discussed Intervention Programme. On 17th April the school has arranged PSHE for the neighbourhood police to attend and give several different inputs to students and parents. This will start with years 3/4 Assembly and then years 5/6 Assembly on Safe Communities and Consequences of Crime. This will then be followed by Parent Workshop/Surgery and in the afternoon Aspirations/Careers Workshop with years 5/6.  

St Margaret's C of E Primary School - On 09/02/2026 St Marys neighbourhood team attended St Margaret's C of E Primary School carried out Anti - Bullying /Hate crime awareness workshop with 30 students from Year 5. 

The intervention went well, and students engaged. We will be attending again on 23rd March due to the students enjoying the intervention.
